Chemical Reactions Lab

There are 20 experiments over 4 days in lab to get done.

Each requires a WORD equation, and then a balanced CHEMICAL EQUATION as well.  You also need to record your observations.

Our first lab day we did experiments # 1, 2, 3, 12 and 14.

Day two in lab we will do experiments # 4, 5, 6, 15, and 16.

Day three we’ll do experiments #7, 8, 9, 10, and 11.

Day four will be # 17, 18, 19, and 20.

The fifth day of lab will be a full period to work on these balanced equations and details, and to make up any parts you missed.

There are 20 questions as well at the end (but no conclusion).  This lab is worth 160 lab minutes, which is the biggest of the whole year.  You can get part credit for the minutes if you cannot finish all of the experiments.

It’s graded out of 60 points because it’s so important.  Do not skimp on this one.  In fact, this is your chance to get back into chemistry and start to turn things into a more positive direction for yourself.
