Chem + Physical Changes Lab

Below you will find a link to help guide you through this lab report.

This lab is designed to give you a hands-on experience doing chemistry, but your knowledge base need not match the quality of experimentation.  I hope that when you write up the balanced chemical equations you begin to connect things like Li2CO3 to lithium carbonate.  You are NOT expected to know why the ratio of 2 lithium to 1 carbonate exists, or how it might change when bonding magnesium or aluminum to carbonate ions, but that the Li means lithium

This is a getting to know you lab.  Pay attention to phase symbols.  Read the conclusion when you write it out.

Enjoy without stress, and become one with the chemistry.
Be happy.  Think.
