You can sit wherever you want at the start of the year, but please don’t move around until I learn your names.  If you need to sit in the front, do that.  If you can’t find a seat in the front and you need one, tell me and I will fix that for you.

If you talk too much with your friends I will switch your seats.

If you want to learn a lot you will sit with focused students rather than your friends, who will distract you, and you will distract them.
